Hi, I’m Janessa Molina Maquindang, the founder of FLYPLANT, a bespoke plant design and care company serving the LA and OC area. My experience as a Filipina-American drive both my love for plants and passion for design. This results in stunning plants paired with modern planters, inspired by biophillic design principles.

My years of hands-on plant design experience is rooted in the wisdom of my ancestors who maintained a reciprocal relationship with the natural world around them. I believe we all deserve to benefit from the beauty and healing power of plants, especially in this busy modern world.

Together with my passionate team of plant care specialists, we seek out and carefully select high-quality plants from the best nurseries and greenhouses across Los Angeles, Orange County, and San Diego.
